Our amazing team is committed to helping others, especially those who are in a position where resources are scarce or completely absent. Each of us have been touched by hardship, by pain, by hurt. We've been on the end of struggle. We know the way out from addictions, traumas, mental illnesses, and various life stressors (often this requires ongoing help). We've turned our mess into a message and are on a journey to bring you the messages of hope, change, recovery, and peace.
- Statewide Outreach: By 2027, establish three care centers across Utah's diverse regions (Salt Lake County, Utah County, and Washington County, ensuring access to exceptional specialized care for mental illness, trauma, and addiction in both urban and rural communities.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Train 100 therapists and counselors by 2025 in culturally sensitive treatments, acknowledging Utah's unique demographic, including its indigenous, ethnically diverse and religious communities, homeless/unsheltered population, and to increase understanding of and compassion for those with mental illness.
- Financial Support: Launch the "Heal the Hurt" subsidy program, aiming to financially assist at least 1,000 individuals annually in receiving necessary treatments irrespective of their economic standing.
- Awareness and Education: Conduct quarterly public awareness campaigns, reaching at least 20% of Utah's population by 2026, spotlighting the intersections of mental illness, trauma, and addiction.
- Professional Collaborations: Partner with Utah-based educational institutions to ensure at least 20 annual internships and training opportunities for students specializing in mental health care, trauma, and addiction therapy.
- Community Engagement: Organize monthly community forums in different cities, fostering dialogue, understanding, and collaborative solutions for mental and emotional well-being.
- Digital Care: Introduce and utilize a Utah-centric teletherapy platform by 2024, connecting residents with state-certified therapists specializing in mental illness, trauma, and addiction.
- Trauma-Informed Approach: Establish trauma-informed care as the standard across all our facilities and programs, and at least 15 additional Utah programs by the end of 2024, recognizing trauma's role in mental illness and addiction.
- Youth Programs: Develop school and community-based programs focusing on early risk detection and intervention for substance use disorders, traumatic events, abuse, and mental illness, aiming to reach 20,000 Utah youth by 2025.
- Policy Advocacy: Collaborate with Utah's policymakers to drive forward state-wide regulations and initiatives that enhance mental health resources and substance abuse interventions.
- Recovery and Integration: By 2024, form alliances with 25 Utah businesses to facilitate opportunities for individuals in recovery, supporting their journey back to societal contribution and self-sufficiency.
- Feedback & Adaptation: Embed a semi-annual feedback mechanism involving both beneficiaries and community stakeholders, ensuring our approach remains rooted in the evolving needs of Utah's communities.
- Growth: Expand our efforts on a nationwide scale, particularly establishing a physical presence in surrounding states by 2027 and to be providing resources for clients, community members, as well as professionals including first responders.
Your donation sponsors a person in need of treatment for addiction and mental health issues who doesn't have the funding or resources to access that treatment.
Help our annual "Share the Love" drive where we provide clothing and food to our unsheltered populations. Help us connect them to resources to heal and to help them feel hope.
Work is underway to open a community center where individuals and families can access behavioral health, mental health, and medical care regardless of their financial abilities or resources.
